UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifying: What You Need to Know

Qualifying Format

The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 will begin in March 2023 and run until November 2023. The 55 UEFA member associations will be drawn into 10 groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the EURO 2024 finals. The remaining four teams will play in a play-off tournament in March 2024 to determine the final three qualifiers.

Play-Offs

The play-off tournament will be played over two legs, with the four teams drawn into two semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will then face each other in a single-leg final to determine the final three qualifiers for EURO 2024.

Dates

The qualifying draw will take place in Frankfurt on Sunday, October 9, 2022. The qualifying matches will be played from March 2023 to November 2023. The play-off tournament will be played in March 2024.

Venues

The EURO 2024 finals will be played in Germany at 10 stadiums across the country. The play-off tournament will also be played in Germany.
